Fantastic restaurant in a great neighborhood! The staff know everything about the menu and are great at helping to select wines for pairing. Probably the best ravioli I've ever had. Definitely go for the "catch of the day". I had a delicious umbrina. Reservations are a must. High quality restaurant for the past twenty years.
What a wonderful gem! This restaurant is located on a very cute and calmer part of Venice. It had outdoor seating right by the water and a really cosy indoor area as well. The service was great, fast and friendly. Food was very delicious. We had a starter, a main dish and two deserts. Every detail was well thought of down to the mismatched tableware. We had a great night and definitely loved this place!
Not my first meal here. Definitely not my last. Really fresh season food that goes beyond the ordinary.
Lovely canal side settling, deep in Cannareggio. People who go are not just idle passers by - the are looking for this sort of innovative, thoughtful food. Highly recommended if you want something different.
Where to start!
Super inviting atmosphere, very friendly stuff and goodness! The food is absolutely stunning! My husband ordered the fried chicken, I thought “we come to Venice to order fried chicken?” You should just travel to Venice to have their fried chicken! Scrumptious! My pasta with clams also incredible, the flavors are sophisticated and unique. Excellent drinks and superb desserts. A must when in Venezia!
My wife and I went here our first night in Venice and it was definitely our best meal while there. We started with scallops, which were incredible and then both ordered pasta dishes as mains. It’s tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas - we sat outside next to the canal, both made it very peaceful. The prices here are very reasonable for the quality and service you get. We cannot recommend this place enough, so if you are in Venice make sure you stop here!
Without question, one of my all time favorite restaurants! Not only is the food unbelievably delicious and creative but also soulful and paying hommage to its roots. The staff are all also unbelievably kind and knowledgeable about food and wine, truly wanting you to have a fantastic experience. I've had many special meals here - I love the peaceful ambiance, extensive wine selection, the warmth of the staff, and truly talented chefs.
Excellent meal and service. Friendly multilingual staff were welcoming and happy to talk thru the menu and wine list for any questions. Food was superb and creative. A very cozy environment also helps. Can't wait to return.
The restaurant is very nice and distant from the main touristic areas. The service was kind and helpful. The appetizers were good, especially the octopus. The spaghetti were good, the ravioli were just OK. However, the dessert was extremely bad and expensive. And, frankly, it ruined the entire experience. We paid around €60 each, that is expensive for Italian standards, probably not for Venice. I would not recommend it, to be honest.
